Eligibility for Admission
Candidates intending to get themselves admitted in this Medical College must have passed S.S.C. examination in any group and H.S.C. examination or its equivalent having Physics, Chemistry and Biology recognized by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education of Bangladesh and must have obtained a total marks 1300 (without grace, extra and deduction for irregularity and without any third division) in the combined total of S.S.C. and H.S.C. results. Candidates who passed H.S.C. examination or its equivalent in the year of notification for admission and S.S.C. examination or its equivalent, two years before will be considered as regular and given preference to those who passed these examinations a year or two earlier.
Procedure of Selection of Student

A) Selection of students will be made strictly on the basis of the results of the written and oral examinations. B) Besides Bangladeshi students, Foreign students will be admitted to this Medical College. The Foreign students are to channel their applications through their respective Embassy/High Commission in Bangladesh. C) All applications for admission must be submitted in the prescribed form obtainable from the Office of the Rector, Zainul Haque Sikder Women’s Medical College & Hospital (Pvt) Ltd., Dhaka. D) The prescribed application Form duly filled in must reach the Office of the Rector, along with the acknowledgement slip for the registration fee of Tk. 1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred) only non refundable. E) Application form submitted without the receipt of registration fee will not be accepted. F) Completed application in prescribed form will be submitted in the Medical College Office as per stipulated time and date. G) Attested photo-copy of the following documents must be accompanied with the Application Form: i) S.S.C. Examination Certificate. ii) Certificate of Passing H.S.C. Examination from the Principal of the college from which she passed the H.S.C. Examination. iii) S.S.C. & H.S.C. mark sheets. iv) Certificate from the Head of the Institution in which the applicant studied last regarding her character, personality, career and extra-curricular activities. v) Certificate of character from a Class-1 Gazetted Officer. vi) Nationality Certificate. vii) 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs. One of these photographs will be returned to the candidate with signature and seal of the Rector/an Officer authorized by him for use as identity card to be produced as and when necessary. viii) Acknowledgement slip showing the payment of registration fee for application of admission into the First year, M.B.B.S class. ix) Certificate regarding financial solvency of the Parents/Guardian. H)
The dates of written examination, personal interview,
list of selected candidates, physical check-up, payment of fees
